ABOUT FILMED UP

By Conwov Ltd · Since 2025

Filmed Up (also written FilmedUp) is a free movie trading card game for iPhone and Android. Every card is a real film, carrying its director, cast, year and rating. You open packs, collect 6,230 films across seven rarity tiers, trade them with other collectors on a live marketplace and play movie trivia to earn coins. It was released in April 2025 and is made by Conwov Ltd, the studio behind Boxed Up and Tuned Up.

Not to be confused with

The name follows its sister games, Boxed Up and Tuned Up. The only official site is filmedupapp.com, plus the store listings below. We do not sell physical cards, and nothing in the game can be cashed out.

WHAT MAKES FILMED UP DIFFERENT

The cards are real films

Each card is a real film with its director, cast, year and rating, from every studio and era. Physical movie card sets cover one licensed franchise at a time; Filmed Up covers cinema.

A collection, not a party game

Cinephile and daily games like Framed are played and finished. In Filmed Up the cards you pull stay yours, and sets are finished over weeks by pulling and trading.

An open marketplace with prices

Cards trade between players for coins through listings, auctions and offers, with every card's sales history visible — something no physical movie card set or film app offers.

Fixed-supply, numbered drops

Weekly drops mint a new film card in a fixed supply, each copy numbered in pull order. Once the run is claimed it is gone from packs for good.

No NFTs, no crypto

Every card stays in the app and trades for in-game coins only. Nothing can be cashed out.

WHO PLAYS IT

  • Film lovers. People who want the films they love as a collection, with cast and director on every card.
  • Movie trivia players. People who like testing their film knowledge and want it to earn them something that lasts.
  • Card collectors. People who enjoy packs, tiers and trading and would rather collect cinema than sport or monsters.

HOW IT WORKS

Packs

You open packs of movie cards with coins, which you earn from daily rewards, challenges and mini-games. What you pull stays in your collection permanently.

Rarity

Every card sits on a seven-tier ladder, from Bronze up to Ultimate, with each tier's frame colour telling you where it sits. Special rarities such as Green sit outside the ladder and are capped by supply rather than by tier.

Drops

Each week, drop boxes go live with a new limited film card. Each drop has one chase card with a fixed supply and shown odds per open. Every copy is numbered in the order it was pulled, and once the supply is claimed the card is gone from packs for good.

The marketplace

Cards trade between players for in-game coins: fixed-price listings, auctions and direct offers, with every card's sales history visible. Duplicates become trading stock rather than clutter.

The full rules are in the help pages, which cover all three games.

THE STUDIO

Conwov Ltd is an independent studio in Scotland making three card collecting games. They share one design — packs, a seven-tier rarity ladder, weekly drops and a live marketplace — but they are separate apps with separate accounts and collections, not modes of one game. How the three relate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Filmed Up?

Filmed Up is a free movie trading card game for iPhone and Android by Conwov Ltd. Every card is a real film. You open packs, collect 6,230 films across seven rarity tiers, trade on a player marketplace and play movie trivia to earn coins.

Is there a trading card game about movies?

Yes. Filmed Up is a digital one: every card is a real film, you open packs, keep what you pull and trade with other players. Physical options also exist — licensed movie card sets from dealers, and Cinephile, a boxed trivia game — but neither is a collection you build in an app.

Is Filmed Up free?

Yes. Filmed Up is free to download and play on iPhone and Android. There are optional in-app purchases, but every card in the game can be earned by playing, and the marketplace runs on coins you earn in-game.

Does Filmed Up use NFTs or crypto?

No. Cards stay inside the app and trade for in-game coins only. Nothing can be cashed out for real money, and there is no blockchain involved.

Can I sell Filmed Up cards for real money?

No. Cards can be sold to other players for in-game coins on the marketplace, but they cannot be exchanged for money. Selling accounts or cards for money outside the game is against the terms.

Is Filmed Up the same account as the other Conwov games?

No. Boxed Up, Tuned Up and Filmed Up share a design but are separate apps with separate accounts, collections, currencies and marketplaces.
